November is such a forgotten month for fishing. I know everyone is excited and ready for that great deer and duck hunting season to open. For most of us that great day is November 1st.  Well that leaves all of us who do not hunt plenty of room and places to go fishing. The fishing is great this time of year. You can get in on the Red fish run and have plenty of fun hauling in those giant oversize reds that just give you the fight of you life. The Speckled Trout are still out and about as just yesterday I personally saw Captain Wally Mayer come in with a nice catch of Specks with one measuring 29" WHAT A NICE TROUT !!!!!!!! The Black Drum are a great species to target as they are gathering for their fall run. 

Flounder Season is just waiting to kick in full force as the cold fronts start to come down and cool off the water. We are seeing quit a few being caught already off the docks at Crab Man Marina in the last few days.

Offshore fishing is doing great as many are bringing in limits of Vermillion Snapper, Atlantic Sharpnose Shark, Lane Snapper and a few Kingfish . I have heard reports of Tuna starting to show up. That always makes for an exciting fishing day. The Red Snapper fishing season is closed in federal waters but it is still open in state waters.

All you fishing and hunting folks out there do not put up your fishing rods........

With duck hunting season opening on the 1st of November throw in a fishing rod or two and make a combo trip out of it.

Live shrimp, finger mullet and mud minnows is still available throughout the season.

The summer crowds are gone and the price of gas has dropped to $2.39 ( never thought I would be happy to see that price ) Come down and enjoy the great fishing and duck hunting season. We have offshore, bay and duck hunting guides available for your pleasures. We also offer fishing aboard the "Adventurer" an 85' partyboat that you can bring your own food and drinks of choice aboard, up to a 48qt. Ice Chest is welcome. 

Winter fishing is great watch the weather as we have many days that shorts and T-shirts are welcome... Come down and enjoy the beautiful weather and great fishing and hunting we have to offer. We are located 2 miles before the ferry landing in between Aransas Pass and Port Aransas on Hwy 361.
